3RING.com requires a XHTML/CSS production specialist to bridge the gap between design and production. You will work together with our designer and developers to produce clean, quality XHTML/CSS templates and integrate them with our CMS.
Required Skills:
- Advanced XHTML/CSS coding skills -- you don't use tables for layout and you write validating, standards-compliant code
- Ability to code for cross-browser compatibility and bugs
- Can take a PSD comp and rapidly convert it to an XHTML/CSS template, pixel-for-pixel
- Good organizational skills -- ability to manage own tasks on multiple concurrent projects
- Some knowledge of PHP or other server side scripting language
- Knowledge of Javascript and AJAX is highly desireable
- Previous experience working with CMS systems (especially Drupal) is highly desireable
Other Requirements:
- You are an independent contractor preferrably located in the Greater Vancouver or Greater Toronto regions
- You possess good communication skills and you are comfortable working in our virtual workspace
- You are able to meet or exceed deadlines, provide accurate time and cost estimates for your work
