What started as a simple SEO consultation, quickly blossomed into a very involved search engine optimization campaign, and full re-design of the new Drupal based website Pinchin was launching.
www.Pinchin.com , the environmental division of the Pinchin Group of companies, was launched the first week of September, 2008. With "simple, clean, corporate, easy to use" as guidelines for our re-design concepts, we nailed it on the first try, with a few minor tweaks. During our initial consultation, Robin Connelly, head of Marketing at Pinchin, was impressed by our recent design and SEO work with other clients such as RemodelingMySpace, ServiceMaster , Nadine de Lange and others, so she asked us to provide a concept for a their new site launch. After looking at their new print materials, and getting to know the business a little better because of the SEO work we were doing, it was easy for us to quickly understand what Robin was looking for, allowing us to integrate a more efficient design into the SEO recommendations.
In addition to creating a clean, open 3-column layout for the inner pages, clear and concise call-to-action items were created in the left sidebar to efficiently direct website visitors to key areas Pinchin management wanted to send traffic, providing exposure to new courses and services.
Pinchin management was immediately thrilled with our initial design concept, with only a few minor tweaks, and quickly had us implement the design into the code for the new content management system they were having built.
Following the recommendations in our advanced SEO consulting report, Pinchin also had us implement a blog on the site, and create a resouce page for their corporate bloggers that included a video on how to enter a blog post, endless tips for writing an effective blog post, and ways to get ideas for writing.
An advanced link building campaign is also being conducted, with results that are sure to have Pinchin in the top of the search engines.
