Paul Marek

Paul Marek first opened 3RINGSTUDIOS in November 2000 while working briefly as a freelance web developer shortly after graduating from Trios College / Computer Technology Institute in Mississauga, near Toronto. With diplomas for Web Site Development and E- Commerce Integration (IBM and Microsoft Systems), Paul embarked on building 3RINGSTUDIOS - offering a full service internet solutions firm to small and medium size companies in the Greater Toronto Area. Paul used other freelance developers to assist in completion of projects.
While developing initial web projects, Paul became very interested in getting his sites ranked at the top of the search engines - using a process known as 'search engine optimization' (SEO). This technology was virtually unknown and untouched by other web designers and developers at that time. In the early days of SEO Google was not widely known and Yahoo! and AltaVista were the search engines of choice.
Seeing the potential of this highly useful technology, Mr. Marek focused on sharpening his skills to become a leader in the SEO industry. Since, at that time there were no certification courses for SEO, Paul developed his search engine optimization and online marketing expertise by becoming involved in many online forums and newsletters offered by other experts who wished to share their experiences. By committing his time and energy to researching and developing his skills, and continually testing and researching this virtually untapped field (and by leveraging the base network of clients to enhance the potential of each campaign) 3RINGSTUDIOS quickly became leaders in the field providing services to many small and well known companies.
Over the past 5 years Paul has consistently provided excellent results for clients of all sizes.
Since 2003, Mr. Marek has taken the growth of 3RINGSTUDIOS over the 1000% mark, with even greater growth potential in the near future. With the current refinement and ongoing development of a proven Search Engine Optimized Content Management System (SEO+CMS), 3RING.com is positioned to drastically outperform many other standard content management and online marketing providers.
Lyal Avery
Senior Project Manager / Solution Architect
Lyal has been an advanced programmer ever since he was born, and actually created an application platform and delivery algorithm for his own birth.
Lyal provides advanced coding consultation and development for 3RING.com, and is responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of most of our major projects. He's also responsible for providing us with many in-house applications and websites that are the butter on our bread.
An absolute Drupal guru, Lyal is the prime suspect behind Outcome3.com , his Vancouver based internet marketing firm that provides advanced web development for large commercial clients and other development firms alike. Among Lyal's many other online properties, he blogs at www.vancouvertechguy.com and is hugely supportive and instrumental in the Vancouver development and SEO scene.
Andrew Berry
Senior Developer / Project Manager
Soon to excel Bill Gate's lifetime landmark achievements, Andrew is a coding and organizational genius. Andrew has been involved in the Drupal community since 2006, and his contributions include Drupal modules, patches to Drupal itself, and presentations to local user groups. Andrew is also studying for a Masters of Science in Applied Computer Science at the University of Guelph, focusing on ways to improve privacy online. He has a passion for the ideals of openness and transparency that the Drupal project and the Free Software movement encompass, and strives to bring those advantages to clients of all backgrounds.
