Social Media Marketing Co-ordinator

3RING.com requires a Social Media Marketing Coordinator who will work (virtually) along side our Toronto based Social Media Marketing Director and will support social media marketing requirements for several accounts.

This individual will work across all areas of social media marketing, including design and sales, with an emphasis on campaign management. Administratively, the Social Media Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for such things as maintaining client files and campaign contracts and researching and collecting information related to client business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the creation of social media marketing strategy, including but not limited to social networking, email campaign management, search engine marketing, online promotions, and affiliate marketing, in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives
  • Coordinates the design, development and trafficking of developed creative units to all media properties
  • Works with 3RING.com headquarters to execute payment of invoices
  • Responsible for all social media marketing campaign set up and execution including working with clients to secure deliverables
  • Supports social media marketing managers in the creation and presentation of reporting
  • Provides insight into campaign analysis and optimization
  • Researches and prepares new information for social media marketing plans and presentations
  • Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the local/national online marketing, media, and vendor community
  • Stay up-to-date on and advises the group of the latest trends in social media marketing
  • Participate in new business efforts as needed by management

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum two years of professional experience; general understanding of social media marketing strategy with project management experience preferred
  • Familiar with and passionate about social media marketing
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful situations and time constraints
  • Able to work effectively across functional groups or geographic offices
  • Good project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to work independently, yet seek help when needed
  • Proficient with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media profile interfaces
  • Independent. Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
  • Flexible. Able to quickly adapt to new situations
